ABOUT KAVITA VAVIYA

Kavita Vaviya is a core faculty member of S2S, known for her dedication and hard work. She has become an indispensable part of the team, embodying the essence of the academy.

Her journey in dance began with formal training under the guidance of Chinmaya Padhy, the Artistic Director of S2S. She further refined her skills under Roza Rana, a versatile dancer and choreographer, and Mahesh Poojary, a renowned dance director and connoisseur.

Kavita has been trained in various dance styles including Ballet, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, and Femme Funk. Her choreography credits include assisting Vaibhav Ghuge and Yash Pandya for the "Star Pravah Marathi Award Show 2024" and Tejesh and Mahesh Poojary for the T-series Album song "Mast Nazaro Se."

Her performance highlights include participating in the NCPA theatre play "Every Good Boy Deserves A Favour," being a wildcard contestant on Maharashtra's Best Dancer, and appearing on the reality dance show "Dance With Me."

Currently, Kavita is expanding her skills by training in Jazz under Arjun Menon. She channels her diverse training and experience into choreography, aiming to spread the joy of dance.

She is the epitome of "Though she be but little, she is fierce," pursuing her passion for learning, teaching, and performing with fierce abandon.
